Description:Seeking a Senior TME to participate with the world-wide Embedded Graphics TME team in the following areas:

Customer Technical Support: Liaison between our Product Support Engineers and Product Development Engineers to drive resolution to customer issues. Lead and or participate in customer meetings via phone or face-to-face.

Requirements Management and Software Architectural Definition: Drive customer and ISV requirements into PLC planning cycles. Own preparation, review and management of detailed product requirements. Requires software architectural understanding to be able to interface with ISVs and customers, as well as the software development teams. This may include active participate on software architecture discussions to drive architectural considerations and implementation details.

Product Collateral: Own development of product user documentation, technical specifications, white papers, etc. Also contribute to promotional collateral such as product roadmaps, product briefs, and web site collateral.

Product Promotion: Prepare and present product training and product demonstrations at global field and industry conferences.

Vendor Interface: Primary point of contact for vendors providing complimentary graphics products, such as Chrontel, National Semiconductor, and Silicon Image. Also interface with Operating System vendors in order to drive technology roadmaps as input to product planning.

Customer and ISV Enablement: Primary point of contact for customers and ISVs using drivers and associated development kits for development of end customer solutions. This will include enablement through provision of platforms, documentation, and code, as well as technical support. This could also include driving software licensing agreements.

Process Improvement: Contribute to defining/refining processes for the program�s development, particularly focused on customer support, product quality, and requirements management.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
8+ years relevant industry experience
4+ years experience in software development and software architecture
2+ years experience in development or support of hardware drivers, BIOS or other firmware
2+ years experience with support and interaction with external customers and/or vendors
Requires approximately 15% travel (US and international).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineer, or MBA
2+ years experience working with Linux
2+ years experience working with Microsoft Windows XP and/or Microsoft Windows XP Embedded
2+ years experience working with embedded operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows CE, Wind River VxWorks, or QNX Nuetrino
2+ years as technical lead or manager of small technical team
2+ years experience working with Intel PLC process, or similar product life cycle processes
2+ years writing and editing technical documentation or technical presentation material
1+ years experience giving technical presentations and training
