In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and providing user support of CAD tools
- Assisting with schematic entry and analysis in the integrated circuit design process
- Designing, specifying, installing, and supporting computer-controlled automatic test systems
- Maintaining cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with at least three years experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Good understanding of circuit simulation, analog layout, performance verification, Resistance-Capacitance (RC) extraction, Design Rule Checking (DRC), and/or LVS tools
- Excellent software programming and debug skills [Skill, Perl, C-shell, C, C++, and/or Tool Control Language (Tcl)]
- Solid interface skills to interact with internal and external tool vendors, and design engineering teams
- Ability to drive resolution of issues with tools and/or flows across multiple design automation and design engineering teams and geographies
- Experience in one of the following tools would be an added advantage: Cadence*: Analog Artist, Composer; Synopsys*: PathMill*, NanoSim*, Hercules*, StarRC-XT*; Mentor*: Calibre*
