| Description: | The Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Product Line at Raytheon Missile Systems has stood up a Mission Support Program Office as part of its commitment to company growth. As such, there is a requirement for a full time person to manage day-to-day military Mission Support program activities within the Product line. Total program funds managed on a yearly basis is expected to be $50M or less. Responsibilities include performing a study of Global Full Service Support opportunities and making recommendations to align Product Line efforts and prioritizing high payoff pursuits. Setting up and conducting pilot programs with various military customers, foreign and domestic. Managing efforts to provide proposals for foreign and domestic military customers. Potentially monitoring Enterprise Campaign and NBI funds, to include inputs to EVMS. Frequent travel required to assist in marketing, set up and conduct of the pilot programs. Leading teams of approximately 10 assigned functional employees which may include RF Technicians, Software Engineers, Life Cycle Engineers for specific pilot projects, technical and environmental tests, and operation of information systems for which this position is responsible for execution and reporting as assigned. Interfacing with AWS PL and RMS management as well as coordination with the AWS Growth Team on different activities such as inclusion of Mission Support content in company and PL strategies, Congressional relations and business/pricing model development. Development of new technologies to be integrated into Mission Support-based systems. Develop Statements of Work requirements for a variety of projects /customers.
Required Skills: In addition to educational requirements, at least 10 years experience in at least one of three disciplines; logistics, information systems and/or radio frequency and sensor. Logistics experience may include provisioning for weapons systems, managing or designing a storage handling and transportation system or designing a logistics processes such as supply, transportation, repair, depot repair, or managing, designing or supporting major logistics systems at command levels such as Defense Logistics Agency and TRANSCOM, as well as with foreign and domestic customers. Radio frequency and sensor experience may include design or maintenance of radio frequency systems for asset tracking. Information systems experience includes design or maintaining a network that supports an information system. Experience performing market research and/or developing marketing business strategies.
Desired Skills: Experience designing or managing information assurance data security systems. Experience leading a system integration project. Working knowledge of military and/or commercial transport processes and systems (which may include rail, air, ground, etc.). Knowledge of structure and operation of asset tracking systems (bar code, RFID) and processes.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field or at least 10 years of combined direct related technical education and/or experience.
