The Technology Sourcing Team Lead has the complete supplier management responsibility for the RMS supplier base within the Pyrotechnics and Fuze technology areas. The TSTL is a key member of the Pyrotechnics and Fuze Technology Council.
The TSTL will lead a staff of subcontract managers (typically 2-8) in tactical/strategic execution of supplier management spanning the full program life cycle including capture, development, production, and life cycle sustainment. The TSTL ensures balanced focus and performance of their team in regards to strategic, tactical, and compliance requirements. Workload management, staffing and mentoring are all elements of the TSTL’s responsibilities
In addition, the TSTL collaborates/coordinates with their Engineering, Operations and Quality/Mission Effectiveness counterparts on technology strategies with the intent to align Enterprise Roadmaps with supplier capabilities, and influence strategic sourcing decisions that consider enterprise objectives and leverage. The TSTL, and their respective technology council representatives will proactively engage in front end of the business decision-making.
Must have the experience and ability in the following required skills:
* Integrated Product Team engagement
* Project Management
* Capability to grasp technical concepts and theories
* Monitor critical milestones and progress to critical performance initiatives
* Plan, Organize, Direct and Monitor Subcontract Performance of team members
* Presentation skills at all management levels within RMS, and at the supplier base
* Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
* Use of standard computer systems focused on Subcontract Management processes

* Demonstrates effective influencing skills
* Have strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to all levels of management
* Capability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Required Education: Bachelor degree in any Business related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years directly related experience in Supplier Subcontract Management or Program Management.
